Laura and Kael

For Laura and Kael's wedding I had the privilege to travel to Oahu's North Shore. I rarely shoot "destination weddings" but this one was not a destination wedding, as Laura's parents live on Oahu and she grew up there. So, it very much felt like a "home" wedding. Laura's connection to the place is profound and you can tell how much she loves it through all the details of her wedding, which I tried to capture as best as possible. A lot of the wedding elements were home made by friends and family or DIY, from the flower arrangements, to the food served. The wedding had a small, intimate feel, while being set in one of the most scenic locations I've ever shot at.
